How Does Escovia Back Belt Work?
Escovia Back Belt combines four proven therapies in a single ergonomic device:
- Spinal Traction: The belt gently stretches your lower spine to create space between vertebrae, relieving pressure on the sciatic nerve and promoting spinal healing.
- Decompression Therapy: By inflating and adjusting, it effectively eases nerve pinching and disc compression, which helps decrease numbness, tingling, and sharp pain caused by spinal misalignment.
- Heat Therapy & Vibration: Built-in heat and vibration relax stiff back muscles, reduce tension, and restore your flexibility for comfortable movement throughout the day.
- Posture Support: The curved, anatomical base guides your spine into a healthier position, reducing slouching and supporting long-term posture correction.
Benefits of Using Escovia Back Belt

A week later:
I used it 4 times to relieve the back spasm. It helped a lot. I put it away just in case I would need it again. However, now I am working on my posture, and taking supplements to extinguish the inflammation completely.
- Inversion table hurts my ankles after a while, and the blood pools into my brain.
- Neck hammock is okay for neck and shoulder area, but does little to do anything for lower back.
- Stretching board is fine for stretching muscles but doesn't do much to actually decompress the spine.
I found the decompression belt to be very effective when I have it on under my clothes and directly against my skin, where it can grab the skin tight and quite literally stretch out my spine. Not only does it stretch out my spine, it also forces me to straighten out my posture when I'm sitting down.
When I used the belt for the first time, I didn't feel much improvement. The second time I used it, I placed it directly against my skin and the decompression effect was much more pronounced. After wearing it for about 20 minutes, I took it off and rotated my hips to the sides and got the most satisfying cracks I've had in a very long time.
All in all, this device is worth every penny.
Boy was I surprised. The belt does indeed tighten up while being inflated. But more importantly, the height of the belt also increases when being pumped up. This height increase is what provides the decompression of the lower back, something I could feel as it happened and that instantly provided relief to my lower backache.
I then went back and read the instructions. They describe how to put on the belt, attach the pump, and inflate the chambers, all of which were obvious from the design. They also described how the belt works to provide decompression. Nice surprise. They've included a list of warnings, along with conditions that, if you suffer from them, would cause you to not use the belt.
This belt is well made and seems very sturdy and durable. The velco grips strongly and makes it easy to put the belt on. If you need some extra length in belt, they've included an extender (about 9 inches). The pump is incredibly easy to attach and use. I felt as though it took forever to fully pump up the belt - the instructions say it can take 30 - 45 pumps...okay, wasn't just me. You can deflate the belt by holding the pump clip half-open. HOWEVER, in reading the instructions I found that they provide a device stored in a pocket on the front of the belt for this exact job. This little plastic key is attached via an elastic strap so you don't lose it. It easily reaches the air valve, and you simply push it in to deflate. Once done, the key goes back into its pocket. Simple, but brilliant.
I was impressed with this belt. The design is thoughtful and the use is intuitive. The instructions are clear and well illustrated, and most importantly, the belt works very well. I would have no hesitation buying another, either for myself or as a gift.
braces and it's comfortable to wear. Putting it on and taking it off is easy. What I would like to see as a option is a bulb pump like a blood pressure cuff, this way I can leave it on if I want, or pump a little air in or release some if I need to as the day goes on. I highly recommend this
product, and say give it a try.
The tubing and air channel connections have good placement and can easily be reached or manipulated while I'm wearing. The pump even seems like an expensive quality portable bicycle pump, it's great.
The pumping is simple once the springy clamp is holding the tubes connected together. This air compression is 100% real and it's not limited by the elastic stretch of standard airless compression belts.
I definitely feel good recommending this compression belt, it's 5 stars worthy for me. Thanks for your time with my opinion.
Take care and stay healthy.
The support is welcoming, while its portability makes it my ‘go to’ when discomfort flares and I’m on the go.
I did and I'm so happy I did. It is easy to use and provides such relief that I can walk normally again and not worry about a disc being pinched and causing pain. You wrap it around your upper torso (in my case to open up my lower spine) and pump it up.
The pump does not have a scale, so you do have to pump until the belt feels comfortably tight and not hurting in any way. Also if you are tiny this is probably not for you. I wear a small in clothing and it is almost too big for me but I can wrap it tightly. If you are large there is an adjustable piece to extend it around a larger torso.
My posture isn't bad without this belt, however, is a nice reminder to maintain a strong posture even when not wearing it. The air pump works well except the volume of air is low, so it takes a lot of pumps to inflate the belt. The belt expands as described but it seems like I can never get the full 'growth', I think I am getting maybe 90% and that seems effective. The connector clip takes some getting used to. When you stop pumping the air starts to leak past the connector so you must quickly remove the clip before much air is lost.
I am not recommending this as an injury healing device and I am not claiming that it will solve your back pain. I am saying it is comfortable and applies pressure as it states .
